Wine, Vinyl, Music and a New Rhythm for Da Nang

Something new is happening at Gụ.
When we first imagined the place, we did not want to open just another wine bar. Wine has always been about more than what is in the glass. It is about the table, the conversation, the energy of the room. Music naturally belongs there.
In March, that vision begins to take shape.
Throughout the month, Gụ Wine Bistro will introduce a weekly music program built around vinyl, live instruments, and a rotating group of selectors from the local and international scene. The idea is simple: create a space where people come for a glass of wine and stay because the atmosphere feels just right.
The Weekly Rhythm
The program at Gụ follows a natural rhythm across the week, each evening bringing a slightly different mood.
Wednesday – Jazz Wine Club
This month marks the launch of Jazz Wine Club, a night where vinyl selections meet live jazz.
Resident DJs will spin warm, soulful records while Ilya joins with live saxophone, weaving improvised melodies into the music. It is not a concert, and it is not a club night either. It sits somewhere in between: relaxed, intimate, and perfect with a good bottle on the table.
The idea is simple. Let the music breathe while the wine flows.

Friday – Social Wine Club
Friday nights at Gụ belong to the Social Wine Club.
Our residents La Riff and Tony Pablo take over the booth, selecting records that move between groove, soul, house, and deep cuts. It is the kind of night where the music slowly builds while the room fills with familiar faces.
Wine is shared, new bottles are opened, and the energy grows naturally as the evening unfolds.

Saturday – Takeovers
Saturdays are reserved for Takeovers, when guest DJs step behind the decks.
Throughout March we will welcome a diverse lineup of selectors bringing their own musical worlds into the room:
Julie Marghilano
Taku Hiramaya
Kaze
Patrick S
Bytz
Justo Ngoc
G Nomad
Jugoe
Each guest brings a different sound, but the spirit remains the same: vinyl, curiosity, and music chosen with intention.

Sunday – The Long Sunday
Sundays at Gụ are designed to move slowly.
With The Long Sunday, music accompanies both brunch and the evening service. It begins late morning, when the first glasses of wine appear on the tables, and returns again at night for a softer closing session.
It is the perfect way to end the week: good food, good bottles, and records playing in the background.

Grand Opening Weekend
From March 20 to March 22, Gụ will celebrate its Grand Opening Weekend.
For three nights the bistro will come alive with music, wine, and the energy of a room discovering its own identity.
Friends, guests, and music lovers from around the city will gather around the tables, the bar, and the DJ booth. It is less about a single performance and more about the atmosphere created when the right people share the same space.
Wine poured generously.
Records spinning all night.
A place slowly becoming part of the city.
A Wine Bar With a Soundtrack
Wine and music share something essential: both are about emotion and memory.
A great bottle can transform a meal.
A great record can transform a room.
At Gụ Wine Bistro, the goal is simple. Bring those two worlds together and create a place where people want to return, again and again.
March is just the beginning. Wine & Music in Da Nang!
